WP headers/downpipes onto an oil burner?

Has anyone used wp headers etc on a gsxr/bandit motor?

I’m assuming the spacing is closer together 

but is it as tight as early gsxr1000 headers etc (and peolle have used these with a tweak)

stock ones won't but i used a micron 4 - 2 - 1 on a oil boiler and used a k sump

Yeah, stock headers are welded together, also pretty small diameter and heavy. Aftermarket ones shouldn’t be that hard to persuade to fit.

I do t think this is going to help anyone but I was told that early model gsxr headers would fit onto my 1127 motor. Couldn’t be further from the truth. I managed to make mine fit with about 30 pie cuts and welds. It was a little more drastic than just bending them into place as other people have done

i fitted an RF900 header on an 1157 engine to complete a bike project

it required a bit of effort on the spacing aspect but other than that it hugged the engine pretty well
