Bandit 12 neutral switch

Just doing the b12 engine, it's a MK1 b12 but I'm using a b12 MK2 harness. The MK2 has a 4 wire plug on it but the MK1 switch dose not. 

So can I just cut the plug off the MK2 harness and just plug in the wires in from the MK1 switch?

I think theirs a way round it but can't remember  F,B. will know.   I did it the other way round MK2 switch to MK1 harness just used one wire from the switch. worked fine.

If you're using a MK2 ECU, it would be easier to go with the MK2 switch

I’ve always swapped the switches, easy peasy..
