Andyb
Hi guys looking for a replacement battery for my 750es. Looking at Motobatt, but confused over which model. The bike us on an 89 plate, not sure if this makes it an esf or esf model. Anyone help? Thanks Edited December 30, 2015 by Andyb Quote Link to comment

coombehouse
YB14L-A2 is the original wet battery specified. The Motobatt MBTX14AU is a sealed equivalent which has more cranking power & is a much better bet. It also means you wont get the usual problems of acid blowing out of the breather & damaging stuff & it will also hold its charge better if the bike is stored in the winter. I have used one for a couple of years now. Quote Link to comment

hussey1
I had a Motobatt on my GSX project Andy, but it didn't last very long at all I may have had a duff one as I always look after them and trickle charge etc. I've now just got a regular gel battery which has lasted a lot longer already! How's the build going? Edited January 2, 2016 by hussey1 Quote Link to comment
