Courtney
Hi - I currently have a 4 into 1 system but am starting to look for replacement stainless steel down pipes / collector box. I've been scouring Eblag (uk) but all systems are for newer models. My question is what (if any) other models / years are likely to fit or is it model/year specific? I've seen some downpipes for a 92 600f but flanges look different. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
wraith
First, welcome to oss. Best thing to do, is remove the 750 motor put a b12 in it with a turbo You will find any of the 600/750 oil cooled engine exhaust will fit, you may need to make a new bracket for the end can mounts. The other thing you will need to look at is, if yours is the model with a 4-1 fitted as standard you may need to swap the sumps and oil pick up for a model that has a 4-2 exhaust or you may find the exhaust hits the sump. 1 Quote Link to comment
Courtney
Hi - thanks for your welcome & quick reply. I've only recently purchased the bike. The current set up is not original - it should have had two 2 in to 1s. The current one looks a bit 'Heath Robinson.' Some numpty has cut one of the centre stand mounts off to make it fit. Something I'd like to reinstall in the future. Quote Link to comment
Losiu
Hi. I have a complete exhaust system from the GSX1100F... but I also have an engine from B12 and a few other improvements ... the oil sump was left with 750 - it is symmetrical and fits under this exhaust. Quote Link to comment
Courtney
Thanks for your reply Looks great - so does a GSX1100f exhaust fit a GSX750F???? Quote Link to comment
Losiu
The exhaust manifold is higher. In the 750 with a short stroke will interfere with the fairing and... it will be very low above the ground. 1 Quote Link to comment
Courtney
Thanks - I'll stick with the quest for a replacement for the aftermarket 4 in to 1. Quote Link to comment
wraith
You will find the b12/gsx1100f and gsxr1100 exhaust will fit but as above, the down pipes are longer so will sit lower than the standard 750 ones and my interfere with the fairing. Quote Link to comment

Ivan
Gsx1100f original exhaust is extreme heavy and most are not in superb condition. My 750f has a stainless slabby micron? 4 in 1, fits with original sump Edited August 20, 2022 by Ivan 2 Quote Link to comment

Upshotknothole
Teapots didn't really change much between first and second gens. Any of those 600/750 exhausts should fit. And stay away from all the OEM stuff, as others have said, they were extremely heavy. Quote Link to comment
Courtney
Thank you for the advice I'll have a look on Eblag. Quote Link to comment
