Rampe Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 (edited) Hi all, I have GSX 1100 EF '85 with original speedometer and '91 GSX-R 1100 front wheel/speedometer drive. Question is, which speedometer cable is compatible to this combo? I currently don't have any cable, so would like to buy the correct one at once. Thanks in advance! Edited July 2, 2022 by Rampe Quote

Will post info about result after I receive the cable. Quote
slayer61 Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Over here we have Motion Pro. A supplier of tools, widgets and most importantly, custom cables. Quote Hello, Motion Pro? Would you be kind enough to make me a speedo cable with a '89 GSXR bottom and an '83 GSX top? Thanks very much! 1 Quote
Rampe Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Original GSX-R W cable wasn't available any more, so I will check the Bandit next... Quote
davecara Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 If you get stuck, these guys are faily local to me and have made a few custom cables for not much cash. https://northwestcontrols.co.uk/ If they cant post I can always collect it and post it if youre not local 1 Quote
Joseph Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 I wouldn't vouch for Motion Pro as far as quality of their goods goes Quote
Rampe Posted July 9, 2022 Author Posted July 9, 2022 (edited) Installed waterproof phone holder to handlebar and loaded Speedometer (GPS) app to phone. Will manage this summer with that horrible looking solution, but will figure out the cable issue after season. I freak about having such a small holder at my bike, while my friend carries comfortably all possible bags in his KTM Edited July 9, 2022 by Rampe Quote
