Experience with Rastec (NL) exhausts?

Looking for a new exhaust for my GSX1100EX, don't have the wherewithal for a Legend and googling around, as you do, I found their site. http://www.rastec.nl/OLDs_COOL_PARTS I like the look of the pipes in the photos. Not a fan of the welds on the down pipes though.

Anyone got one/had one? Heard anything about them?

Dont want to talk bad about people but i know several story's about rastec that are not pretty i wouldnt send my money to them even if they are still in business.

there is a guy who does exhausts here in the netherlands that got away from rastec and started his own i hear and read good storys about  them

He has re-developed it for more performance and less noise.

Seriously though. Where I live I can easily ride with an open pipe.

On-topic; the Jaygui systems are VERY good and the buildquality is second to none. All that's wrong with them is the name

Any idea why the downpipes are welded half way down? Looking at other systems they seem to be one piece from the manifold to the junction. Especially the fancier hand bent stuff. But even my old Harris pipes looked to be one piece.

I think the reason the headers are welded halfway down is because they are tapered and that's probably the only way they can do it.

With the recommendations looks like I will be contacting Jaygui about my new pipe then:)

Bizzarely, was in the local bike wreckers today - they're tied in to Gazi suspension some how, and amongst the  stuff hanging on the walls in the shop part were a pair of very nice exhaust systems - both Jaygui - one Stainless, one Titanium. Looked to be very nice pieces - very well put together with nice merges, nice tapered sections - genuinely nice bits of kit.

Yeah - was talking to the dude about it - that's part of the link. Did see they were a Gazi distributor on their website. I wish Gazi weren't such horrific looking things.
