jaycee Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 (edited) Finally out of my my van and I've had a quick look over it. Shopping list: - sump plug. Al drained the oil and mislaid it. These things happen. - Rear caliper banjo and bleed nipple. This was me that mislaid these bits way back when! - Clutch hose, it has split. - Downpipes, mentioned previously, they've rotted away. - Oil filter, air filter, oil (I think I might have oil filter and oil in a cupboard) - front and rear brake pads -battery - front brake lever* - rhs clip on bar * *the bike may have jumped off the ramp when being loaded into the van at Al's house and I wasn't quick enough to catch it Anyway, it's stashed away in my lock-up for now. I'm about to go onto half-pay, so parts buying can wait until I return to work. I'm really looking forward to getting into it and getting it back on the road. Sitting on it, I felt right at home. That's plan C. Plan A is getting it running as is. Plan B is upgrading the chassis, on a very tight budget, but trying to keep everything Suzuki. Plan C is engine swap. Plan D requires a lottery win Plan E requires a lottery win, a lot of learning and a lot of thought. Quote
jaycee Posted November 19, 2021 Author Posted November 19, 2021 Apart from Wemoto, could anyone suggest a good place to get parts for these? For instance, I'm struggling to find a front brake lever and a seal kit for the rear caliper. Any information muchly appreciated. Quote

Joseph Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) Xexpress.fr much cheaper than CMSNL Proper discount for real OE parts. It's like they sell to people at the sort of prices before garage mark up I also have a Scheibel S/S 4-2-1 zorst for air cooled if you like, it's not exactly worth much Edited November 21, 2021 by Joseph 1 Quote
