GSXR750W tacho on GS750 wiring help

Does anyone know if it's possible to connect a GSXR750W tacho to a GS750? 

I know universal tacho's the signal wire goes to coil -

Maybe someone has done this and/or has a wiring diagram?

Possibly. If the GS 750 is running it won't be difficult to wire it up to find out, as you'll need a feed from the coils as you state, a switched positive and an earth. However, won't the scale be all to cock? A gs750 revs far less than a 750W.

As far as i remember a Slingy and Blandit tacho does not work on the coil feed, it needs a signal from the CDI unit. 
Probably the same for a 750W tacho. But as dezza says just wire it up and find out.

I know the scale is off...to that extent that it shows more RPM than the GS is capable off.... a red marker will solve that...

it won't be running for a while so I guess I will have to do some testing in another way

Black/red to coil 1-4 cylinder black/white to earth harness job done 

Been running the gs1000 like this for years with different clock's all work well, had gsxr clock's, gsx550, and at the moment b12 

Also running Dyna coils and Dyna S.
