R1guy Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 (edited) Do any bikes in the oil cooled family use a cooler that has feed/return on the top and approx 360mm-ish wide? Looking to run an additional head cooler on the slabby and the slingshot one I have measure approx 440mm wide so will not fit in the fairing I’m using. Looking to achieve something similar to this: Edited July 4, 2020 by R1guy Quote
clivegto Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Mk1 B12 cooler is 310mm wide one in pic. Tea pot & slabby ones are about 400mm wide. 1 Quote
wraith Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Think @Dezza has something like that in for sale bit. Quote

Already using early b12 as primary cooler . Looking to use something OEM but slightly larger (if possible) for the head cooler. Just re-measured, 400mm max will work if I can find one. Quote

Captain Chaos Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 Mine looks like the top one (8 rows) and is 410mm wide Quote
clivegto Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 Top one is 410mm with screw in fittings from the older teapot 600's & the one from the newer 600's is 440mm with bolt on fittings. Quote
clivegto Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 The new 750 teapot is also 440mm but deeper (more rows). Quote
clivegto Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 750 slabside is also 410mm but deeper than the older 600 teapot. Presumably the older 750 teapot coolers are the same as the 750 slabsides. Quote
