kja.busa Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Hi, I've a pair of 1100K wheels to go into my 750 slabside gsxr. How can I modify the rear suspension link to maintain the ride height? Quote

clivegto Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 (edited) Gsxr 250 knuckle would also raise the ride hight a little on the 750 slabby but you would also need a fork on the bottom of the shock. Bottom one is 250 top is 750. Edited January 27, 2020 by clivegto Quote
clivegto Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 There is another way to raise or lower the ride hight on a slabby. You need a eccentric adjusters on the swinging arm (not just for the wheel) , like on this JMC one made for the 1100 but it would fit a 750 as well. Quote

kja.busa Posted January 28, 2020 Author Posted January 28, 2020 (edited) Cheers guys, much appreciated, I've seen the billet linkage and no one does one for a 750, but if an 1100 one fits the 750 arm then that's a start. I'll have a look at the R1 shock too, is it any specific model R1? My bike currently has a white power shock, but it's a bit tired. Edited January 28, 2020 by kja.busa Quote
