I've also got a WP and as you say they have a fat "arse" I was wondering myself what else would fit, I think an older rear end of an L or M could be fitted but would require a matching sub-frame as the WP one is wide at the rear around the grab ail area, but I expect it could be done.  (y)

Hey, play with the aesthetics all you like, but please wrap those panels up in bubble wrap and then shrink wrap them.

I'm starting to think that there are very few clean ones left. I'm not even sure if they sold many.

It's not so much that the panels are worth a lot, nobody seems to care at the moment, not a popular bike.

Couple of years time though and you'll thank me.

the l and m sub frames are welded to the main frame so it wouldn't be easy

Thanks guys

Will leave as is and stick it in the back of my garage for now, they don’t seem to be too sought after but she was cheap.

will start the hunt for an L/M model today aaarghh

cheers

Good buy at that price, I`d started watching out for a 1100WP & lots are north of what you paid & nowhere near the condition. Keep & look for a M 750 or 1100 :tu
