Im new here and i love all the knowledge i get from just reading the fors but i have an unanswered question. How can i lower the rear of my Gs750es 1983, i was looking for the dogbones (rear linkage) on the monoshock and i couldn't  find them. Any easy way of lowering the rear without too much modification?

Welcome to OSS.

I don't think the ES has dog bones, so a bit of modification may be needed but you could always put a shorter shock in.

somebody will be along how will know ;)

……..you can lower your bike via the suspension cushion mount . cut the 2 mounts off ( circled in red ) and remove a small portion of the tubes...…..keep in mind that approx 6mm removed here   will equate to something like 25mm of drop in the rear or so …...adjust to your liking then weld back in / coat of paint and you are done .
