What about the air boxs, are they the same on 1100/750 et

I have my ET insured with CIA , they class it under Suzuki gsx 1100 e.

Could someone tell me if the 750 et has the same rear air filter box that holds the filter,as the 1100 et. If they are the same does anybody have one they would like to part with. thanks.

Get your self the appropriate Suzuki workshop manual ,sitt and read it.All of the infomation you need is in there to strip and rebuild the engine. If you want to tinker with it there is Roger Upperton and other poeple on the oldskool site who will help. Best of luck.

Best solution is a EFE block, give Roger Upperton a call on 01132390231 (LEEDS) he will do the job for you. He is the person majority of people go to for tuning work, highly recomended.

Does anyone know if the fuel gauge sender unit is the same on 750/1100 et,and is there one for sale anywhere ??

How does this mudguard fix to the forks, not a very clear pic.

I run a 81 ET with a JMC arm busa rear wheel 3/8 offsett engine sprocket, 520 chain,shenko 190 tyre. Rear wheel is central in the frame.As for chopping the frame it would be the last resort in my book.The bike is used for dragracing and has been used on the road with no adverse effects to the "skinny" chain.

Could anyone tell me if there is a difference between 600 and 1200 headlight brackets, or is it just the thickness of the rubber rings on the ends.

Had a whine on my ET when I bought it 12 yrs ago. Only got it in 4th and 5th gear, hard surface on the 2 gears was breaking up.So new gears(lots of dosh) problem solved.

Go onto Suzuki performance.co.uk and see his prices. By the time you pay taxes etc you will possibly be cheaper buying it here. You could also try Debben Performance .

I use a piece of glass about foot square, put the clutch plate on top and use feeler gauges to find any disscrepency.Dont put to much weight on plate,just enough to hold it.

Can anyone tell me which sprocket carrier I need to fitt my GSXR straight spoke rear wheel (550 x 17) so it will fitt my ET swingarm.

Hi, thanks for the replies, I have spoke to people in the past and a few have said it may be an ES or SD, at least know I know what year it is. All I have to do is decide whether to re paint it black or silver as its going into an ET frame.

Hi Everyone, Just rejoined at last. I bought a Katana 1100 engine a while ago and would like to know a bit more about it.The number on is 702-102189, it is the original black, the carbs are same black,has a 24 bolt cam cover and alloy finned end caps. So could any one give me any idea what I have before I start on it. Thank in advance.
