  1. I did one similar to Viz but fucked if I know how to add a picture lol
  2. Yeah I know what you mean mate they can work as a normal lock up but I would prefer a normal type basic lock up, plus its a hell of a lot of money for a hayes
  3. Is it just for road use or just drag? a Hayes is a slider clutch so even if you use it as a lock up type its not ideal, the main issue with them is the springs on the front as they stretch and fall out, we broke 3 engines through this fault and rodded one, we would never use hayes again so mtc all the way, if its mainly for road then you only need a lock up clutch.
  4. Got a dyno here Kev if you need to use it, I will only charge beer
  5. Chain needs tightening lol, looks awesome mate, loving the buell wheel set up
  6. Hi mate nope i dont have the handheld controller sadly but i do have a dyno to tune on so should be fine, still not sure if i'm going to use it yet but it would be interesting, i'm thinking of going for a custom billet fuel rail with these injectors that i already have, so i suppose thinking about it i might as well use what i have got lol
  7. There is also a bit of an off road track on site if anyone fancies slabby jumping
  8. Yes mate i'm in Shropshire, give me a shout when its ready and we will get it sorted
  9. When its set up you won't need a wideband mate but its always nice to have just in case, where abouts are you? as i have a dyno and can help out if you are near.
  10. Yes mate certainly is, look up Willeymoor Lock pub and its just across the road
  11. Anyone used a microtech ecu? i have one here that was going on a gsxr 1000 but changed direction, i was going to sell it but thinking of sticking it on a bandit now instead as also got some 660cc injectors sat here, its the fuel only ecu which looks simple enough to set up but just getting ideas really,,, i fancy building something a little wild over the winter, 300bhp but nice and reliable with an ams boost controller so gear based boost for controllability .
  12. On my Koso set up i just tapped the bottom of the clutch cover, temp was around 80 degrees cruising
  13. You may get away with an extra diaphram spring but lock up would be better, its torque thats the problem.

    Something new?

Right just seeing if there is any interest here, but where our workshop is on the outskirts of Whitchurch could be a good venue for a bit of a bash, the guy that owns the business park is big into his bikes and a top bloke, he also loves his vws etc and has just had his own modified car doo a couple of weeks ago which was a great success and he suggested having some for bikes, There is a huge field plus lots of hard standing for parking, he has installed about 10 portaloos which will be permanent for such causes, and he got a drink and alcohol licence very easy so thats sorted. The site is nice and quiet (until we turn up lol) and its out in the country so loud music will be fine although not sure if a live band will be allowed but we can apply to the council and speak to locals. As well as all this we could do a bit of a dyno shootout if people fancied it? I don't think the site owner would want paying as i thinkj he would join in himself so it would just be a couple of quid each to cover ammenities and a charity donation. What yall think? oh also the local roads are fricken awesome too.
  15. I always run stock plugs, and the same on our busa, we run stock cr9e with up to 36psi boost, never killed a plug yet on the strip
  16. Doesn't really matter as you will be 76 when ya actually finish the bugger lol
  17. Do you really need ignition and fueling features though? why not just a standalone fueling ecu? i have a microtech that i used on a bike that was fantastic, it might even do both actually but not sure as i bought it used but i will be selling it cheap soon if any use to you mate?
