Tourmax is also good quality in my experience. Japanese, not Chinese.

Pirelli tend to be a bit narrower than indicated. Michelin a bit wider.
In my experience.

Same here, at work we buy Denso plugs and no problems with bad ones.

To add some confusion, DOT 5 is silicone based and DOT 5.1 is not.

Brown wire is for parking/position light.
USA models don't have a front parking light, most others do.

yeah... well.... I missed all this because of several reasons.
Next year Clive, let us know early enough when the Chicken Party will take place, and I come to the UK with the whole family for some holidays.

I think they were originally made of Play Dough.
people always over tighten them. 10Nm max.
Although Suzuki says 13-15Nm, that doesn't feel safe to me, especially on a 30-40 year old bike.

I have a teapot 600 cooler on my B12 engined EFE, it previously had a Powerscreen engine. Only once ever had any slight overheating issues, was on a f@cking hot day, stop-start traffic, with a passenger.
I'd say a Teapot 600 cooler is enough for your application.

630 means 6/8" pitch, 3/8" width.
530 means 5/8" pitch and 3/8" wide. 525 is 2,5/8" wide. 520 is 2/8" wide. etc.
So a 530 sprocket can be machined down to 525 or 520, but a 630 sprocket can not be machined down to 530.

does the right fork leg have pinch bolts at the bottom? If yes, loosen them a bit, compress the forks a few times and retighten the pinch bolts.
-
probably yes, but the gear might be different. It's easily swapped though.

loosen all the engine mounts, move the engine/cilinder head forward as much as possible, tighten engine mounts.
The "lost" clearance might reappear.
