look in the plastic float assembly. There should be some brass bit in there, it's from the choke circuit.

could be from the choke circuit, in the plastic float holder thing. They tend to fall out. Compare with another carb as Koko said.

when you shut off the throttle the back of the bike lifted.......... so wrong ?
yes wrong.
The back end lifts when opening the throttle.

yes, 750 has 10mm lower engine mount, 1200 has 12mm

good semi-synthetic oils can handle up to 140 degrees. But 110 is a safe maximum. When I took Fatty for a ride in 30 degrees and sunshine the oil gauge didn't show more than 90-95.
Is the oil cooler clear? Not blocked?

I was 28 in 2004 as well. Young and stupid.

38mm gsxr 750 carbs .brass jet unknown location??? help

a mate had a Triumph Trophy with 36mm Mikuni carbs which was a bitch to start cold on the choke. Investigation revealed that 3 of the 4 brass jets had come out of the plastic bits.
I installed them securely and everything was fine again (as far as everything can be fine with a Trophy).
