  1. Thank you, I run these carbs without the air box or filters. I will use metal screens like the following. It's the same I have used on my track bike with FCR carbs. http://www.pjmotorsports.com/velocity-stacks-with-flanges.html#HD CV Carbs
  2. I have a Bandit 400 with FCR carbs. It has a super hard time with starting when the motor is cold. Once I practically kill the battery and it starts; then it's okay when the motor is warm. Here is a video of it finally starting and warmed up. Where should I focus my attention for cold starting adjustments? The video has a description of current settings and I have a video series of 6 different attempts to tune the carbs. I usually focus on the air jet on the air box side of the carb and fuel mix on the bottom of the carb.
  3. The FCR carbs require a dual push/pull cable. I have run a single pull on CV carbs with a Yosh 1/4 turn throttle. The aluminum mirror/fairing bracket is from LC Phillips. Not sure you can still get them. Graves makes a race only version, but will not produce them for orders under 10, the last time I checked.
  4. The wheels were the biggest change in noticing handling! Feels good!
  5. Skip to the 14 minute mark to see it in the bike. Sorry, video isn't great as I was on pain meds and still trying to learn how to edit video. https://accbilletengineering.co.za/product/gsxr-slingshot-srs-type-suspension-linkage/
  6. I'm sure most of you know the early R1 throttle tube will drop straight in to your oem housing and give you a quixker turn throttle, Motion pro will also make you a Rev-2 throttle kit for your oem cv carbs or any after market carbs. I previously had done the R1 conversion and now switched over to the Rev-2. Motion Pro was really good with communication and getting the product to me. They sell replacement cables for the oem cv carbs, so I'm sure it would be very easy for them to match up an existing kit. The following are some pics from another post I used as a "how to..." and saved on Pinterest. https://pin.it/4IyFRDM
  7. Using '02 GSXR 1000 Coils. I used these from Pinterest as a "How to..". and a video on testing your coils will be linked too. https://pin.it/5ojaIsO https://pin.it/6h8og3W https://pin.it/ordFUXa
  8. See 00:43 I find a split. I sent them the video and will let you know how the process goes from here.
  9. She ran a little lean on the top end. 1mm Wiseco pistons, Yosh stage2 cams and sprockets, yosh +4 advancer, yosh titanium (not duplex) pipe on regular gas. 109hp ...I know it varies from dyno to dyno. But I would like to get some tuning time on one and some race gas to see some improvements.
  10. The parts as they arrived, before install. I switched to Stainless rotors., so not iron as mentioned in the video.
  11. Is this your bike or do you know who's it is? This was on a 1992 GSXR 750. Where can I buy these adapters? https://pin.it/3NEf1MF https://pin.it/31lQUus
  12. Japanwebike sells a bracket for the Brembo brake conversion for about $400 for the pair.
  13. I had a choice of a new gsxr or invest (in a "boat')..so I invested in a boat. Knowing I would never get my money back out of it!
