  1. You wouldn't believe it, work want me back
  2. Explains a lot. If i hadn't had the tank hydro dipped, i'd consider having it cut & flattened as it's never gonna need a large tank of fuel.
  3. Thanks, that answers my question
  4. Always had a thing for Purple haze myself
  5. Just removed the BST34's from the drag bike & transferred all the new hoses i had fitted to the BST38's. Then i noticed that the vac hose was spare & thought there's nowhere on carbs for it to fit. Also fitted the Carb rubbers & No4 has a spigot with a cap. Would this be the Vac hose connection?
  6. Maybe the lack of space is the 11 engine & tank in a 750 frame?
  7. I think i'll do some straights, down where the original pipes went, then off to right & into the cooler
  8. That's the 2nd pic. The tank rests on the 90s & sits above by at least 4 inches
  9. Can't find where i originally asked the Q, so i'll ask again. I asked, would the Slabby tank foul the AN6 fittings as they 90 degree over the top of engine. I was told that no probs, it'll fit. Well it don't & is nowhere near! I can't put the cam fittings down instead as the AN6 fitting will foul the carb. So how the hell do i get this to work?
  10. Got mine off Eblag form Cruzinimage. Sound naff but they're a Japanese company & so far everything i've had has been spot on. Bought 2 carb sets for the X7 & they arrived in 5 days!
  11. I'm gonna guess that he means BST34SS, but 36's will work too. 38's are silly money & 40's are a pain so i'm told
  12. Public liability insurance. That's why most things along these lines are being stopped, to save money
  13. VJMC can't help, another guy linked does it for a fiver, or nothing in my case as he couldn't find anything, & he has a v. good rep
  14. Sounds like a warped cover. Just get another & try that
  15. I'll make an appearance, but none of 4 bikes are ready, not that i can get my leg over em yet anyway!
  16. Not exactly a standard vin though is it. Suzuki shop only narrowed it down to a GT250EN X7 for both.
  17. Anybody know how to ID the stamped VIN on 2 frames i have? GT2502-501878 GT2502-511583 Need to find the No plates to apply for new log books
  18. Just collected this lot. 200+ round trip, should keep me busy sorting through it. And there's a running bike under that lot too!
  19. It's so "old hat" these days, not many people do it anymore on any bike
  20. Got my Pressure plate tool of Eblag, just a modified pair of mole grips
  21. Apparently not, 2 days of abuse & it won't give in
  22. Don't look like it, i'm guessing the tightness is currently stopping that happening. Personally i wouldn't like that idea.
