  1. like the wheelie one best..... cannot beat a bit of hoot-tootary
  2. Spray wd40 over inlet side and rubbers if revs die down you got an air leak
  3. Would fuel stop immediately or keep flowing for a short while as if you ride a bike with cap blocked it will run for a short while until the static air Px in the tank is lower than the weight of fuel, vacuum taps are switched on by pressure change so fail off, this method would be switched off by pressure and fail on
  4. The cases rockers and covers get hot but not exhaust hot so they have had no issues.
  5. Some absolute stunners in that collection

welcome aboard mate like the black frame
  7. I always fancied this swap as I have a spare set of carbs lying around but the nearest dyno to me is 80 miles away so would be interested to see the gains
  8. Top selection of bikes
  9. I got a set of sealy vacuum gauges to balance my carbs they seem to work really well as they have damping screws to reduce the fluctuations on the needles
  10. The lines of the Bike look really smart mate
  11. Nice pair of bikes mate
  12. If someone has had a go at wiring it is probably worth going through the whole ignition side, which is quite straight forward with the wiring diagram, signal generator to igniter to coils is not a lot of wires, print the circuit out and colour the to and from of the wires and meter them out. Spending the time to sort the basics out first can prevent hours of chasing later
  13. I had the side covers and rockers all powder coated a few years ago still look mint and then took time prepping the the rest of the engine and sprayed with Halfords engine paint, let it cure properly then got the engine warm a few times to harden it off. Seems to have stayed on quite well and lasted 4 1/2 years few areas could do with very minor touch up but it still looks pretty good
  14. Added a couple of teeth to the front of my EFE also to get rid of a bit of vibration around 60/70 mph in top gear
  15. Mine still Original EFE ones from 1984 a bit of crazing but no splits.
