I think the biggest you can go on 1052 barrels is 1186cc.
Are the 1052cc barrels not a shorter stroke than the 1127cc?
Unless you're putting a turbo on it
Yes it's getting turbo on it,

Have a sneaking suspicion that the liners OD is the same across both models - the Blandit is I believe 1mm bigger - can't confirm
If there the same how big can you go on a 1052 block,

Generally done with carbs and exhaust - easiest and cheapest.
Sometimes via ignition. Nothing in the bottom end with ability to restrict output (without major cost) so should be identical!

I have picked up a U704 1052 slabby bottom end with a bit of research it seems it's from France and West Germany with a reduced power output, how would this be done carbs/exhaust is the bottom end the same as u703
-
Right so I have a 1127 powerscreen bottom end which we know is helical and various reports no good after 200hp, I've now picked up a U704 1052 slabby bottom end which I believe has a better clutch basket and straight cut gears, now we come to 1127 gsxr which we know has straight cut gears like the b12, although the mk2 b12 has a stronger output bearing, anyone care to add any experiences
-
So using a U704 slabby 1052 bottom end, 1127 powerscreen block which base gasket would you order, will be a cometic or suzuki but which one 1052 or 1127 or are they the same

Think they done the 750g in certain climates

yeah.....hard tailing isnt really an option really as he takes his missus on the back, and as for dropping the pressures, when you're running 215 40 17 tyres you could run them flat and it'd still be brutal
1. Cut the back seat off and leave the Mrs at home.
2.Leave the back seat and get a lighter Mrs.
3.ignore both of the above and spend on decent shocks and a 3rd shock mounted in the middle similar to goldwing trikes.
-
Hardtail it, sort it right out, much better handling, drop the rear tyre pressure for a bit of comfort
-
The green one had a Kwak motor in at some point, when I got it it had a slabby 750 in, that rear mount could of been changed at some point, what's it look like on the yellow frame and what motor was in the yellow frame originally

That's the most sensible thing I can think of
Now that is far to sensible, but right thou

Q5 answered with the help of Eblag, Gsxr 600 k1/2

Trying to get all the information together before I pull it apart so I have all the right bits, ok here goes. I've got a 1985 gsx750es and a 1991 gsxr 750m swingarm but haven't got access to either at the moment.
Q1. What are the widths at the pivot of both swingarms.
Q2. What size pivot bolt are they both.
Q3. Have I read somewhere that a b12 arm is thinner at the pivot width.
Q4. Does all the the 750m stuff go straight in a b12 arm, wheel/spacers shock etc.
Q5. What shocks it on the m, K1 1000?

What size tyre can you get on a B6 rear

I believe B12 barrels are the one to use as they are thicker to start with, someone else will confirm this I'm sure
