Ive got one you can have off a 750 gsxr, think is been messed with, your welcome to it.

Its really easy to make a basic loom to get a motor running if you have the plugs

That would be great, dont think it is beyond me being a electrican/electrical engineer :Dand it's going in a Z1-R so going to be altered, if the plugs are good that's great

Go bandit 12 mate. All cheap and plug n play

B12 seems a bit dearer than teapot stuff, when I done the 7/11 teapot I just used the 750 loom with the 1127 cdi, can get a teapot loom for 15-20 quid, but will it work

  3. Right so I am awaiting delivery of the 1100k motor with 40mm carbs, I'm going to need some carb rubbers at some point, I've just got a 750 cdi, I'm aware of the difference in rev limit etc but from what I've read it will run, I need a loom, I've got a couple of ignition with keys here, 750 slabby and I think gsx750es both 4 wire with a green plug, so recap 1100k motor (I think) gsxr 750(slingy model unknown) cdi and slabby/gsx750es ignition, what looms will fit, there alot of cheap looms on Eblag at the mo gsx600f/gsx750f/gsx1100f/b6/b12/  gsxr what will fit thanks

  4. Just got some plans through to make the engine mounts up, hopeing the 40mm carbs fit in the frame without to much trouble, to be replaced with a turbo at some point, engines not getting delivered till the end of august on the OSS network

Not necessary, I sold the motor out of my parts bike to Bill D a couple of months ago. Removed carbs and inlet rubbers, laid it on it's side on a tyre, my mrs. helped me but we manoeuvred it up and off with stripping anything off the engine.  Patience is your friend ;)

There was no way mine was coming out without the sump, strainer and oil filter off

The problem of having a luxury problem

It's all good when building something non standard and you just grab the right diameter spindle till you get the right length,  but when some one says have you got this, its errrrr probably have  you got the dimensions and the answer is always no

This is how I did mine:

    Go to local tip

Excuse me mate can I have that mattress?

    Lie mattres on floor

    Lie bike on mattres

    Lift chassis off the engine

For re-fit repeat process. Its the easiest way

Yes I've done loads, problem is it doesn't come out complete, as Swiss Toni has confirmed sump off oil filter off breather was off already and its out

  8. Having a bit of trouble getting the motor out the frame, the frame is now bare, I have removed the oil breather on the top all the engine mounts are off, I've put it on its side and cant get it out, do I need to take the sump and oil filter off as well, my mates coming round in the morning for a 2 handed attack
