After looking through the search results, I did not really find an answer.

The 1200cc in my race quad runs the 36mm with the TPS (2001 year). The new 38mms I am installing do not have this. What exactly is the TPS doing? What will it do disconnected?

    Thanks!

it does feck all, ive run a few B12's with the TPS connected and disconnected and I can't tell for the life of me any difference.

  2. I dont think the ET tank will fit on a zuma frame !!!  they are very narrow at the front edge and the frame on the zuma splits off into two tubes,  with some mods it would go.  ??????

the 750 and 1100 ET tanks are the same BUT the UK got the larger tank, the US got the smaller (lower) tank.  but they are all interchangeable.

you can see mine with the larger tank

WAW...looks killer...did you have any issues with the tank fitting on the frame   I'm planning to fit  a gsx1100 ET  tank ...any body done this?

Iv'e seen guys go the opposite   ..fitting a gsx1200 engine into an old frame...

the katana tank was pretty easy to fit with a little modification underneath.  the ET tank won't fit as it is very slim at the front mounting area and the zuma frame is wider than an ET frame. you will have to modify the tank or the frame. but a bandit 1200 OR gsxr1100 engine will just drop in though. :tu

  5. that earth connection that F.B. mentioned can give all sorts of problems,  on one of mine the bike would fire up no prob but as soon as I put it into gear (neutral light out) it cut out, pulled the spade connector apart and cleaned all the crap off it and all's good.
