An Uncle of a friend of mine was a engine mechanics teacher at a pro high school.
His technique for valve lapping :
Take the head apart, put valve grind paste on the seat of a valve
Put valve back in the head.
On the cam side of valve in head, fit the valve like a drill bit into an electic screwdriver
Lap the valve like so, rotating and from time to time pushing the valve in slightly to even the paste out.
Quick and very efficient, but still a bodge job in his own words, nothing is more efficient than proper machining of the seats.

Lapping valves is a waste of time. Proper seal is obtained by having the seats done properly. You might as well have it looked at, we're not in 1940 anymore.
If you close up the engine on a budget, but have to buy at least a new set of seals soon down the line it will hardlt have been worth all the initial effort will it ?

Probably not.

They have a little tit on the carb entrance side to indicate the top of the pipe i believe ?
That then defines whats what as far as left and right.
I would have thought you could flip them over but i have no experience with that point

Would width be diameter ? Just saying

Drill the sprocket, fabricate a bridge shaped tab thingy that bolts to the sprocket, and fit the OE bandit pick up onto said tab ?
Something like that ?

I tried an Akra oil cooler header on my katana once (so "same" engine as the EFE) and the angle of the header was way off ? When you say an oil cooler header fits is that after remaking it to fit ?

Maybe it's because governments are threatening to go electric in 10 years? Making these illegal to use on the street...
It just means anything new made will have to be electric, not that anything existing is illegal to use

Unlikely to be the spring. The diaphragm is what glves up usually. If the bike has recently been resurected it could be that modern fuel has melted it

eGay should have gasket sets
Bear in mind the aftermarket repro "complete" gasket sets are usually missing an O-ring or two

Several parts suppliers have the microfiche available
There are some suppliers my way that sell the rebuild kit, you should be able to find something where you are
-
Sealed ones in that size dont exist. You pack them with bearing grease, fit a good outer seal on the disc side and maybe think to have to replace them more often

Find bearings that work for both wheel and spindle

Can't find much info on the net
Thats what the internet is about

Maybe you don't have the standard tap because by the looks of the microfiche the bike you have was equipped with an on/off tap.
Measure the bolt spacing of it there might be something else available new from Suzuki that would fit.
Rebuilding can be a bit hit and miss, i've usually bought new when needed for my GSXs

It certainly will not make any difference on an EFEs turning capacity on rough surfaces either, indeed

-
Granted, but still won't make an ounce of difference on a 240 kilo bike.
Its like saying you can feel the acceleration capacities of your bike increase as the weight of the fuel in the tank decreases, because it's making the bike lighter.
It takes a lot of work and even more money to reach tangible improvement in the weight loss department on a vehicle.

A quick calculation based on 2 mil thick aluminium plate weighs in at a whopping 20 grams for 2 block off plates
I'll sit back and wait for someone to tell me that would be noticeable on a barge weight of a bike on crappy everyday roads.

alloy plate cut to shape and drilled, gasket paper and put the antidives back on ? Shouldn't be harder than that

If you have the frame and V5 with matching serial number registered to your name what does this change ?

I think the general theory is that smaller tubes will increase the torque low down at the detriment of the top HP ?

I put mine on the floor, put my foot on the tube on the floor, and pulled on the first one closest to me, and basically they splayed out pretty evenly
Took a bit of force to do but no heat involved

What i suggest in this topic here :

Works great with a lithium battery

Thanks for the examples @Reinhoud
I have that Marving exhaust on my katana because with the Srad fork it lowered it alot. Works great for clearance
Bear in mind the quality of the chrome whether white or black is really shit. I had mine dechromed and ceramic coated after just one year
Bolt on exhausts for Gsx 1100 ef
in Air Cooled

No idea.
That said the exhaust spigots between air cooled and oil cooled are not the same diameter (air cooled being bigger)
Oil cooled head : 42mm
Air cooled head : 46mm
Oil cooled exhaust flange bolt spacing : 56mm
Air cooled exhaust flange bolt spacing : 62mm
Just found this out because i had a set of new exhaust gaskets for an air cooled and thought i could pinch them for my 11R engine and they do not fit, much too big.
So not sure what exhausts everyone seem to be swapping over from oil to air but ?
