  1. very nice project......
  2. Bandit is a better option as it is more narrow than other Suzuki arms.
  3. Thanks for the feedback I managed to get them out. LOTS of heat was the answer. It requires some serious heating but then it was actually not too bad Funny enough it was the small M6 studs which required a pipe wrench and will need to be replaced
  4. What is the best way to remove cilinder studs of a GSX1100 ? Are there any handy tools ? I tried heat and two nuts but that did work well, they keep slipping or getting destroyed. Need to get them out for boring the crankcase and swapping for EFE ones
  5. My 1100ESD with Bandit B12 swingarm Used bushes for the 16mm axle (Bandit is 20mm), welded shock mounts on. As I wanted to retain the original passenger footrests and rear brake pedal, I had to move the brake cylinder to an outboard position
  6. I am running lithium batteries and felt that the original regulator was struggling to keep the voltage at reasonable level. So I changed it for one from Rick's which was specially configured for lithium usage with a little lower voltage. Rock solid regulation of the voltage at 14v, regardless of the loading. Very happy with that
  7. Is a swingarm of a Bandit 12 not an option ? With some small parts it fits without modifying the frame
  8. Can you remember which ones you got ? Maybe some pics of what you made ? Thanks, Ro
  9. Looking for any solution to add crash bobbins/mushrooms on a GSX1100. Does anyone know of something like this available ? If not, would a set for GSF1200 Bandit fit ?
  10. Does anybody has an idea what type of crash bobbins this is ?
  11. That is funny, i picked up this engine some months ago. Will make some more pictures to show the extension
  12. Hi ! For a GSX1100: Does anybody has a drawing with the location of the mounting holes of the front sprocket cover in relation to the output shaft ? I am looking to make a bearing support plate Thanks in advance, Ro
  13. "JR" stands for Jan Roelofs, the retired tuner from the Netherlands who designed the profiles. Kent was using them to grind on original cores. Now you can get them From Nick at SPS
  14. Looking for alternatives for an GSX1100 fuelcap, but then without key. Preferably quick-lock or so. Planning to use the bike for track days and I am not in the mood to fiddle with keys or hack up a tank to install a quick-lock fuel cap Does anyone has suggestions ? Thanks, Ro
  15. Hi, Planning to install a GSXR1100W front fork in my GSX1100ESD. Is there somebody who did this before and can share some pics of the mounting for inspiration ? Thanks in advance Ro
