Hi guys got a mates slabby at the shed with an irritating fault it will fire up ok run on choke revs harder choke off ticks over a bit lumpy right enough but as soon as you touch the throttle cuts out , it was running fine after set up at a local bike shop ,its had new plugs, the carbs are immaculate good clean spark got me stumped ? Any advice greatly appreciated :-)

Not fully decided on colour yet coz I'm a fickle fukker but either a dark metallic gun metal grey or if the quality is good possibly red chrome vinyl wrap

Back from powder coating time to start rebuild ,engine degreased ready for paint, exhaust polished coz I canny afford a new one

Will do the frame is away to the powder coaters again a couple of bits we're very light in powder so one step forward another back :-)

Tried painting before and got all the stuff,spray gun,compressor etc just lacking patience and a good eye but I'm gonna be more patient this time not even considering paint till I'm 100% happy with the prep

My Harris Gsxr ripped apart ready to get paint n polish trying to do most of the work myself but my powder coating oven just ain't big enough for my frame , took bodywork to a local painter for a quote and nearly fell off my fukkin feet when he quoted 725 quid for tank,seat and muddy in a single colour

It's a shame original Harris fairings are so thin on the ground still look good today

Shock mount is an ugly affair on mines will try get pics on Friday if I get to the workshop and remember :-), would like to redo it but don't trust any local welders

Had mines out for a winter warm up yesterday running sweet and sounding great but the bloody clutch fluid all leaked out again I believe a 2003 sv1000 seal fixes it ?

Saw that build .. very nice probably need to sell mines next year but would love just to tuck it away as an investment (well that's what I tell the wife)
