Understood. Working with what you've got makes a project affordable. I like it, lots of people should take a good look at how the seats done and learn something from it.

Any reason for the dent in header #3?

You need to swap the linkage as well

Afaik if you got the complete backend of a Slingy, you can bolt it straight into a Slabby. Not tried it myself yet, but that won't be long.

Looks like the handle is aftermarket or later model. Tap itself looks as it should.

750M, I think.

.... how strong is the frame in comparison to the slabby? I know yantosh's slabby coped with a twin turbo so think a bandit motor will be no troubles!
Mine has a 142Bhp 1127 in it and has done more than a few laps of the TT course with not a single problem (apart from splitting the chain and blowing up, other than that, it's been fine

If you have the right bits, a Slingshot swingarm is a straight fit in a Slabby.
I have both and I stongly prefer the Slabby; much lighter, better (faster) handling and just plain cooler.
There's truth in a Slabby being cramped as stock, I surely don't fit on (in?) one, which is why I raised my seat by a few inches

I agree that there's differences, but if fitment would be the same, that'd do me

Thing is; I can get a NOS 1100 luggage rack and I need to figure out of it fits my 750

Are they the same as far as bodywork goes; is it interchangeable?

I think we'll have to disagree on that notion; a Bandit arm is as long as stock ET arm, for instance, and any K-series GSXR is even shorter.

Yes to the tankmounts.
As for the other questions; I have pictures at home, but someone will beat me to it.

Slingshot GSXR. They're pretty much all the same.
