Thanks, he normally runs can I say ahem scooters on it! He pointed to the speedo on the machine which went upto 150mph & asked me what the top speed would be. It’s more about making sure my carbs have the right jets etc

What top speed do you think an 1127 with 38’s would achieve realistically? I’ve got the chance to put it on a dyno locally before I get it on the road but the dyno guy says his machine go’s upto 150mph!

Yes Beevis, as mentioned above, some pilots were blocked & some restricted

See if I can measure my set that are for sale. They are k5-6 that were modded to fit oil cooled

Managed to get some time for n this today, pilot jets were blocked or restricted & I've lowered the needle due to the fact I have the needle straightening widgets fitted

Didn't check 2&3 but no.4 looked untouched after I'd initially cleaned them & no.1 was black

Carbs have been off recently because I discovered I had dynojet tubes & factorypro needles, so I bought a set of standard tubes & fitted 147.5 jets (I think)

Why are no.3 & no.4 downpipes not getting as hot as the other 2? I removed plug no.4 & turned engine over, the plug sparked. I then swapped it with no.1 plug but still cylinders 3 & 4 downpipes are much cooler.

I asked the guy who made mine if he'd make more to sell, he said if he gets time, possibly over winter when things are a little quieter
