Okay done the rewire on the project 750 refitted the carbs and it fired which I was shocked at as my wiring skills aren't the best but it's reving it nuts off so took the carbs back off and checked things. Now im not to sure but should there be a spring either side of the plate

Just the ones on either side of the adjusting screw, check for air leaks and catching throttle, visual sync the butterflies to the first air hole

I would think the spring that's missing would be there to stop the screw moving

They're the balance springs for tuning up you carbs, sync 1+2 together, with the adjustment screw, then 3+4 together with that adjustment screw.

Then match your two sets of sync carbs with the middle adjustment screw, they all need springs above and below the plate

Did a quick bench sync and put the carbs back on running open carbs at the moment a bit of a pig to start but it finally started with a bit of brake cleaner as easystart now do I keep the original airbox or run pod filters
