What's folks experience with temps at idle as have  , 70'-157'164'154 from 1-4,

will I get the higher ones down a bit with airscrews or float height, (experiences please)

shes fooking hot at the headers just now. Only just run it up so base setting really. Mk2 blandit Turdbo.

A turbo will run hot low down - not enough heat to drive the turbine which is effectively a 'potato in the zorst - so it all backs up!

The 70 would give me more concern - points to possible misfire or non burn?

It's is a little ruff, at idle odd spit back through plenum!  I tryed float heights 2mm higher up as per usual,  but she wouldn't run so set them all at 13.5 mk2 carbs are shite anyhow.  So maybe a little lean on no,1 cylinder ,shall tweak airscrews and see, ta for now.

I know its not the same as I have draw thru.

But temps on the bend of the header are 145 ish at idle after a min from dead cold engine.....

I have seen 175 / 185+ after 3 or 4 mins....Heat Build up is quick when not moving O.o

And its a bit on the fat side 9_9

Cheers DD, I've managed to tweek, airscrews mixture  a little so have no more popping ! Rebalanced the carbs after dropping idle quite a lot  temps are now in the mid 100,s but yes gets hot quick so needs a ride in airflow. so I'm much happier don't want any leaned nastyness so..So she's nearly test rideable hopefully later this week I will Dyno it With John , at Warpspeed . Let's see what happens eah.
