wraith Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Hi all, Been looking in a box of gsxr bits I have and there is a alternated gear (the one that goes on the back of the clutch ) thing is I don't know which gsxr its off? Could be a 750/1052/1127 as I know in the past I've stripped all the motors down. Can anybody tell the how many teeth each has so I can see which it is? Thanks. Quote

So am i wrong or are your numbers out on the 750L FB? Quote
fatblokeonbandit Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 No idea ricky, but the number of teeth came from the parts fiche, and corresponds to the Suzuki part numbers??? and any alternator will fit any oil cooled as long as you get the gear on the alternator and change that to match the one on hte engine.. CockneyRick Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 That's wot i did in the end, just swapped em over Quote
canamant Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 Odd that the total teeth number doesn't add up to the same for all engines. Some must have a different alternator housing to gearbox primary shaft spacing. Quote
CockneyRick Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 Just different gears, all else the same Quote
