Sprocket sizes

Hi all,

  I'm in the process of a rebuild on a 93 750. While it's in bits I was considering trying different sprocket sizes with a view to modestly increase acceleration. What do you guys run and to what effect please?

Thanks mate. Looks like a pretty cool site. Only issue is the bike is in bits and I haven't even ridden on it yet so I have no idea regarding what values to put into the graph. Just looking for some recommendations really

if ya just want better pull away then 14/42 is what i use to run, you won't need anything else. still has enough top end to pull over 150mph. ya might need to put some weight over the front on pull away tho.

A 14 tooth is a bit harsh on chain so 15 / 45 will give same ratio as 14 / 42 and what I used on my 1100 so could be a bit tall for acceleration on a 750? Maybe 15 / 48 might be better?

standard is 15/42 . need longer chain to run 45t rear. tho not a big problem if bigger rear is better on transmission.

Gixxer1460 told me once try to aim for a ratio of around 3.00 which helped me decide what size sprockets to buy...I used this pic as a quick reference too
