Coil on Plug

Gentlemen, quick question. I'm looking for some info on coil-on-plug setups for my 1052... I bought some from a newer GSXR600 but they are too damn tall. See photo.

Anyone know of a shorter version that would work? I'm adapting this motor to efi and need the space under the tank.

I'm using 600 SRAD ones on mine and am sure they sit lower than that.

A bit late reply but here is a photo how Denso 129700-4400 coils look 1127 engine. These were from '05 GSX-R1000 and apparently they have been used on many other 1000 & 600 models as well. Slightly difficult to say for sure but looks like they sit lower than yours.

129700-4400 are what i have fitted, i have also used the 4510 which are the same length.

here fitted to a bandit 6 motor

That gasket goo looks a bit iffy :-)

I saw that coming The engine came in that shape from previous owner and I have no plans to fire it up before complete rebuild.

Yes.  They must think it is made of some magical formula that only squeezes to the outside.....
