wraith Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Just thinking ahead for when new shed is done (if it stops raining so I can get the base down lol). I started a gs550 with a b6 motor in it and when I can get back onto it I was thinking of putting a 4-2 zorst on it. So dose anybody know what zorst will fit and will I need to change the sump? Was thinking gsxr1100 or gsxr750 but cannot think of a 750 with a 4-2 or maybe gsx750f???? Any info. Cheers. Quote
Captain Chaos Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 GSX-R 750 J/K has a 4-2 exhaust. Sump pan will need swapping though to fit it on a B6 engine. Quote
wraith Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 Cheers Captain will keeps my eyes open for both. Quote
Captain Chaos Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Teapot pipes also fit (with sump pan swap) but good luck finding a non-rusted through set. Quote
richyrich Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Ive got a Quill four into two that came on a 750L. But when I put it on that motor in the gs550, it sits really low. Quote
wraith Posted October 20, 2017 Author Posted October 20, 2017 Would a gsxr1300 Hayabusa down pips fit? Just thinking as I have a set of gsxr1000 on my oilcooled 1127 kat with some tweaking. Quote

The headers are not heavy,it is the stock cans that weigh abit(and restrictive on the 1100). But I got round that by fitting harpoon cans/link pipes(fireblade on the right and RC30 on the left. Sadly, haven't got these anymore.) Edited October 23, 2017 by Del Quote
Gixer1460 Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 You said complete stock system - hence the comment! Quote
