Cobby Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Has anyone done this mod at all as I can't get it to sit right at all Quote
Swiss Toni Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Sit right, as in...how? B6 or B12 arm? Mono or twin shock? Quote
Cobby Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 B12 arm mono shock, the shock mount needs redoing as a cowboy made a right mess of it for me but I thought I'd just sling it together to see how it sits, I think maybe the shock might be too long Quote
Rene EFE Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Holy fuck, did someone build it like this? 1 Quote
Jaydee Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 (edited) That welding looks 'interesting'. Don't worry, a few well aimed smacks of a hammer and you'll have snapped off all the cowboys work and be back to square one. Edited February 21, 2017 by Jaydee Quote
dupersunc Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Run a 10" rear wheel, it'll be reet. Looks like you need to start again from scratch there. Rocker pivot's in the wrong place on the frame, as is the shock mount. A little more to it than shock length. Quote

Cobby Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 It only took a year to get to this stage Quote
dupersunc Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 You might get away with longer dog bones, but that would probably cause other issues. The mount that have been welded on look like a dogs breakfast. They need to come off, so you might as well do it right. 2 Quote
Cobby Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 Oh it's all coming off for sure and the tosser that did it can have it all back Quote
Rene EFE Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Angle for the shock looks totally wrong too 1 Quote
Swiss Toni Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 You know those tents with the springy frames. You just throw them up in the air, and when they come down, they're erected? Well...I think your PO did that with the frame and suspension! Start again, Cobby! 1 Quote
