katana11 Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 folks,i have fitted a motobatt battery on advise from here, but the damn thing is too high and wont let me fit the airbox anyone else with this issue ? Quote
Dezza Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 The physical dimensions of batteries should be the same among different manufacturers. If you get the correct battery code from one, e.g. Yuasa, it should be the same size as for another, e.g. Motobatt. Maybe you were sent the wrong battery. 1 Quote

stellafella Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Is there a spacer attached at the bottom of the battery, I ordered one about a month ago and it came with a spacer on the bottom of the battery Quote
Simbec1863 Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 The one on my slabby is the same size and height as the original, on some motobats there is a removable base that unclips to adjust height in the battery tray,it's a yellow cage that fits on the bottom of the battery. i have 3 motobats on 2 suzooks and 1Ā non Suzuki and have not seen this problem so far, good luck on sorting it Ā Quote
