1052 clutch casing on 1127 ?

i have a mtc lockup clutch off a 1052 , does the 1052 clutch casings fit on the 1127 cases as i've got a 1127 motor & was wondering if the extended cover would fit ?

The clutch cases are all interchangeable between everything from any oil cooled 600 right up to all the 1127/1157 motors. The only real difference with the cases is the oil capacity number stamped on them. The 1052 MTC extended cover will fit on an 1127.

no it's just the standard spacer type I'm afraid

I think the 1052 motors had two less teeth on the crank so the 1052 clutch basket won't fit the 1127, but you can swop baskets to get it to work.

thanks for the info Wraith, i went on the site that you told me about and found the article about the clutch swap & printed it off but I haven't read it yet but i did find the spacer size required  for the swap , thanks again spot on
