Madb
Hi Hawky, that would be cool if no one answers. Not standard shock, shum after market mutli adjustable italian pialoia thingy. Cant remember how the names spelt. It's bit longer but bike still sits on its ass! Quote Link to comment

Hawky
Happy to help !! I have a complete 1995 back end still fitted in the chassis so was also considering swapping it in to the wp? 50/50 with the idea as have got the wp with modified bottom link/bones/k8 shock and sits nice...Braced does look nicer hmmmmmmm 1 Quote Link to comment
Madb
If ya got it sorted i would leave it alone. I do love that banana arm but it just the flexibility of it makes it a bit lively at the back so i thought I'd try the braced one for feel. It does look lush, eh. What have ya done with your set up? Hawky
May go braced then.. Worth a try if have one sat doing nowt! I gotta order a castle nut socket for the smaller castle not the larger lock one.. Do you happen to know the part number or what suits as what I have here is a no go and too big for the wp Quote Link to comment
Madb
Easy swap if ya do fancy trying. Castle nuts. Dont ya just love them . I just got a set of eblag for an srad. Ya should get three diff sizes for about 15-20 pounds. Make sure they're made in england tho not china. Mates just turned up in workshop with this so not going to touch any machinery tonight! 1 Quote Link to comment

Madb
Much better Thanks again hawky. You fitted that braced arm yet? Quote Link to comment
Hawky
LOL Fitted it in today and noticed that zx6r g1 g2 j1 j2 std alloy dogbones slip straight on and give it 40mm lift.. (185-186 centres) Will play with it on std dogs for now then try it at +25/30/40 when all finished as wheelbase change needs to be tested plus i run 180/60's. Looks much nicer .. Dead easy swap aye 1 Quote Link to comment
Madb
I tend to run 180/60 too. Sharpens the streering nicely. Hmmm. 185mm. Be interesting to know how it handles with them. Quote Link to comment
Madb
Mine dont sit like a chopper now! Quote Link to comment
