They've got high and low speed adjustment too. Edited July 3, 2016 by Gammaboy Quote
almostthere Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Got a 2000 750 shock seems a it soft might try a bmw one next they are cheap enough on Eblag Quote
monksey Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 a lot of gsxr shocks fit i have a k7 750 shock Quote
Hawky Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 I think the best one to use with the right spring rate is the k7/k8 gsxr 1000 ... same length and very close spring rate to stock Quote
almostthere Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 how does the spring rate compare to the bmw shock? Quote
Hawky Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 I'm sure the bmw rate is 8.5kg std?. k6-k7 750's are 9.5kg work well k7-k8 1000 10.1 kg work well fast road/track Not sure 100% on the srad shocks but they are in the low 7kg range and renowned for being a bit on the too softy softy side...Also too long on stock knuckle etc Also varies on what bottom link/dogs etc your running but you should find a big improvement on any of the k6/k7 750 / k7 k8 1000 shocks 1 Quote
