bernardo
I might be slightly mad but I've decided to rebuild my slabby motor rather than dropping an 1100/1200 in. Now I think I can source most of the parts off the net, but can anyone recommend a good crank recon service? Also reasonably priced discs and an exhaust are hard to find any suggestions? In fact any recommendations for parts in general? thanks Bernard Quote Link to comment

canamant
750 cranks usually very reliable. Regrind would require thicker shells which are not listed. The different coded shells are for manufacturing tolerances not for regrinds. Unless of course any specialists have had batches of shells manufactured. Quote Link to comment
nightrider
Well, I haven't ever had the need to recondition a 750 crank (1052 yes). Are the main journals out of spec? My local car crank specialist tracked down some Suzuki Samurai shells that worked quite nicely for my 1052 main journals that were out of spec. However 750 cranks are pretty easy to get hold of threw here, brakers or eblag. Quote Link to comment
