I used one from a tl. Exhaust is home made with crf250 mufflers.

It's all down to bearings and the correct stem-lenght.

Suzuki has been known to use the same dimensions (and parts) for a LONG time. That's why a Slingshot USD goes straight into a late 70's GS.

TL's and later GSXR's all have ballbearing, so these need swapping to tapered.

Please excuse my naivety but if the stem height is incorrect is it just a case of buying one the correct length?  How do you determine what to order? Or do you have a custom one made?

Easiest way if you can't do it yourself is take both sets of yokes; the standard ones and those of your desired front end, to an engineering shop and say;

"Make this (the new set) the same as this (the originals)"

There's not much too it but easy to get wrong if you don't have any experience doing stuff like this.

I used Slingshot USD forks in myn fitted straight in, just had to adjust the lock stops
