recardo Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) whats the best way to distinguish between 750 and 1100 (slingshot) oil coolers? how many rows is the 750 and 1100? or dimensions (height?) I think I've had a bit of senior moment.... Edited March 16, 2016 by recardo Quote
Oilyspanner Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 My 1100s' cooler is 40 x 18cm - the 40 is measuring it straight though and of course it's curved, it'll be the same width as the 750 though. Quote
recardo Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 ^^^^ thanks - I'll go and measure mine Quote
Rene EFE Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 I think they're pretty much the same. I throw together bikes from bits and I've never had one cooler fit better than the other. Quote
Captain Chaos Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 I had a mate's 1100M last week and its cooler is one row lower than my 750L's cooler. Quote
recardo Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 just checked mine, its 15 rows and 20cm in height (oil cooler body), 24 cm top mount to bottom mount. which makes sense seeing as its a 750 frame (with 1100 engine) Quote
Oilyspanner Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I took the height measurement from the mid point, it was 20cm at the reinforced ends - guess I should've counted the rows ! Quote
