Rene EFE Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 When you have the bushes to go with the spindle, you're good. EFE is 16mm, Slingshot is 20. Just swapping the bushes is enough to make it work. Judging by what I've been told as to how easy the swap on a Slabby was, it sounds like the same mod. 1 Quote
caferacerdan Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 ok further to the clingy slabby debate...whats the weight and strength difference in the slabby 750 vs slabby 11 frames? and are all gsxr frames both clingy and slabby stronger/lighter than a bandit mk1 frame? Quote
Swirl Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Dunno about weights or strengths but coolness factor a bandit will always be a bandit in my eyes 1 Quote
Rene EFE Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Slabby 750 is the lightest by a long way. Don't think there's much difference between a Slabby 11 and any Slingshot. 1 Quote
kokolis Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 With a difference of 20kg between slabbys and slingys, for sure the slabby 11 frame would be lighter by to 2kg compared to a slingy Quote
caferacerdan Posted March 27, 2016 Author Posted March 27, 2016 now this is still tough. build a slabby 11 or a 7/12...if i can build a 7 to look remotely close to Rene's or Clive's Id be happy with that! already gathering modern front ends, headlights etc as it is just need a frame now Quote
