How do I get the barrel out?

Hi… Slabby steering lock… wanting to match the keys up as I don’t have the key to this barrel… but can’t see anyway to get the barrel out to file down the tangs

Looks like you might have a key number stamped on there? 413? Might be a good place to start.

I don't know about these locks but it maybe that you can lift out the bolt once it is unlocked?

I don't think they can be stripped ?  ive tried in the past with no success,  once the barrel goes in it never comes out again !!!!!!

Bugger… so will need to get a key cut then get the Ignition/Tank/Seat lock keyed to that

You could get a spare one cheap from Eblag, drill it out and see what goes on inside. They must have got it in there somehow.

I took my ign cylinder in to have a key reverse cut to it. It works on the gas cap and steering lock. They dont make keys like they used to.
