wraith Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Ok all, think I know where to go on this but just going to run it by you lot B12 engine. Running 100% last week, came to go out on it today and it wouldn't start, turns over then a big back fire from the exhaust, then the starter clutch goes clunk. I've removed the atu cover and all looks ok in there, and I've removed the starter clutch cover and all looks well in there. Next is to remove cam cover and check timing. Or should I be looking at carbs. Quote

And yes have a spark, not the strongest one I've ever seen but a spark on all 4 cylinders and all the same strength. One plug came out wet and the others where dry. Fuel in the float bowls, so could be pilot jets. It's my folt, I was just thinking that in the next week or so I will do the winter service, check tappets etc so jinxed myself Quote
TonyGee Posted October 14 Posted October 14 try another set of good plugs wraith, this is common on the 600's but the 1200's sometimes have the same issue. 1 Quote
