Turbo charge pipe size ?

Starting to turbo my gsxr , going blow through this time (built a couple of draw thru’s over the years) just wondering if 2 1/2 intercooler to plenum pipe would be ok ? the engine is a 1340 & i will be using a td05 turbo  & hoping to get around 300 hp , thanks in advance

What thickness of pipe are people using? 1.6mm seems to be the lost common to find?
