Guest Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Hi guys. I ordered a starter clutch holding tool for my gsxr1100 slabside. It arrived today but doesn't fit. I just wondered if the slabsides had different size starter clutches. I've had mine for 20 years and always ordered parts for a 1987 model and they always fit. My starter clutch keeps coming undone Quote
badger Posted August 9 Posted August 9 I just put 2 bolts in holes, had a bar to stop it spinning and a bit of luck keeping it all in place. Thread lock too. Quote

Dezza Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Those clutch/flywheel holding tools that look like a glorified set of mole grips work well and don't exactly break the bank. I have a set and they're brilliant for all types of jobs. I wish I bought them 20 years before I actually did. Quote

Got to wait for the guy on Eblag to sort the returns process out then I will get some. Quote
