shim question

Does anyone know what the consequences are of using 29mm shims instead of the proper 29.4mm ones.

is the shim likely to jump out of the bucket or will it make a tapping sound if it moves about in the bucket.

reason is the proper shims are on back order here and only available in about a month, they have to come from Japan.
