spiderpig Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) Can anyone help me out and identify these fittings from my pile of bits I've -8 goodridge lines which these definitely are not fitting... Measuring od 22.5mm, id 13.5mm, 1.75 thread. So am I right in thinking I need a 5/8 bsp to an8 reducer?? Edited July 2, 2024 by spiderpig Quote
dupersunc Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) Yep bsp. You can get bsp fitting for -8 line do no need for adaptors. Edited July 2, 2024 by dupersunc Quote
Dezza Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Don't bother with adaptors. Sell the BSP cooler to a car person and buy an AN cooler. Adaptors are expensive and will also reduce clearance by spacing the cooler fittings further out from the cooler. 1 Quote
spiderpig Posted July 2, 2024 Author Posted July 2, 2024 That's what I'm thinking. Adaptors seem to be extremely thin on the ground in those sizes, like non existent. Will flog it and pick up an AN one Quote

spiderpig Posted July 11, 2024 Author Posted July 11, 2024 New cooler on its way Next question, crush washer or ptfe on the sump fittings? Quote
Dezza Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 On sump and coolers I have always used either copper or aluminium washers and never had any problems 2 Quote
