I was persuaded to buy some dry chain lube, never used it before and I was wondering if this is contributing to the chain clattering on the sprockets. Would I be better to use the conventional old oil / grease type of lube ? Quote

Would I be better to use the conventional old oil / grease type of lube ? when i worked in the bike shops i used that spray on white shit, the customers likes to see you've actually lubed the chain !!!! but never use it meself i always use oil, yeah it can spit a bit over the wheel if you put too much on but it isn't hard to wipe it off.
