recardo Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Any suggestions as to how to get the spindle out without special tools? Quote
Joseph Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 To get the spindle out you don't need to touch the threaded adjuster rings ? If the nut on the other side unscrewed it should knock out, but it may be crusted in by corrosion ? Quote
recardo Posted November 19, 2023 Author Posted November 19, 2023 Nut is out on the right hand side ok. Nothing is shifting when tapped with a hammer. Not sure if it's threaded on left hand side shown in the picture Quote

Try soaking it with penetrating oil and letting it sit, then try hitting it with a hammer again to get it out. Quote

Digs Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Bit of penetrating oil and some heat, that’ll get it out. Quote
